GADDAFI SURVIVES NARROW ESCAPE

Colonel Gaddafi is reported to have survived a narrow escape from NATO airstrike leaving his youngest son (Saif al-Arab Gaddafi, 29 ) and three grand sons dead.The Libyan government spokesman ( Mussa ) said Gaddafi and his wife were present during the attack and  survived unharmed.Moussa added that the attack is assumed 'a deliberate plan to assassinate Gaddafi.

On the other hand The Libyan government spokesman Mussa Ibrahim told a news conference. "We think now it is clear to everyone that what is happening in Libya has nothing to do with the protection of civilians''.Apparently NATO has denied targeting Gaddafi, or his family and apologies for any casualities.

The NATO's commander of Libya operations, Canadian Lieutenant-General Charles Bouchard, said the target was part of a strategy to hit command centres that threaten civilians."All NATO's targets are military in nature ... We do not target individuals," he said in a statement.
